Our DockATot Deluxe was one of the baby products that I used most during Addie’s first seven months, so last week we decided to size up to the Grand and I am very happy that we did! As you can probably imagine, with three kids we have a lot of stuff! I remember moving into our house a little over seven years ago and thinking about how much space we had. Three kids later… not so much. I love products that are multi-functional and multi-purpose. Our DockATot Grand is just that. It provides a cozy place for Addie to sleep and it’s also the perfect little spot for her to lounge and play. I can easily move it from the bedroom to the living room so that Addie can sit and play in it or lounge with a blanket while watching her favorite show, Yo Gabba Gabba. She loves to relax in the Grand outside in our backyard while she watches her big sisters run around and play. Addie is still in the toppling-over-after-sitting-for-a-while phase and when she does that in her DockATot, she lands on the soft sides instead of face planting into the ground. Once she is ready to transition into a bigger bed, this will definitely help to make the change a smoother and easier one for her.
The Grand has all of the features that I loved about the Deluxe, just in a bigger size. The shape simulates the womb and it gives babies a sense of security. The breathable micro-climate provides a cool place for baby to sleep. DockATot goes through rigorous safety testing to ensure that you can use their products with confidence. There are so many different covers to choose from, you’ll have a hard time picking out just one! The portability of the DockATot is one of the most important features for me. I find it so difficult to set up and break down portable cribs and pack n’ plays. I just save the zipper bag that the Dock comes in and pack it up easily when we are going to be staying in a hotel. We’ve got a beach trip coming up and I’m definitely planning to bring the Grand for Addie. It will be the perfect place for her to lay under our big umbrella and stay out of the sun and sand.
