I hope that you’re all having a great week! I’m looking forward to getting done with this week and being on stay-cation next week since daycare is closed. Anyhow, I wanted to stop in and remind you all that you can still save 15% off of your purchase from Rhinestones and Tutus Etsy shop through tomorrow (8/1/14) at midnight my time (that’s EST) with this code: SARAHREED15
The girls and I had this past Monday off for PR’s four year checkup (she does not need oil in her milk). I mean, their outfits alone were worth a blog post!
LB is wearing a custom tutu from none other than Rhinestones and Tutus and PR is wearing a brand new skirt and flower crown; all three items just hit her shop this week! PR’s skirt is so simple, yet so stunning. The black and white striped fabric is accented with gold shimmer polka dots and is right on trend. LB’s tutu is just perfect. The tulle is very soft and it’s lined with a lightweight woven cotton so that it’s not see-through and feels soft against the skin. There is a beautiful satin waistband with elastic inside so you can pull it on and off without needing any type of fastener. PR’s flower crown is made with fall-inspired colors. I love the bold orange mixed with red and purple! And if you know me, you know I love me a good flower crown!
We paired these oh-so-girly skirts with simple tees from Kid + Kind which is a new shop that just launched on June 8th. PR and LB are brand enthusiasts for this rad shop and we have come to love Jackie, the mama behind it all. All of her tees are unisex and printed on American Apparel. Her designs are so unique and simple and the girls just love them. We have six of her t-shirts so far! LB is wearing the painted rainbow t-shirt. When I saw it I immediately pictured it with a black tutu, so what did I do? I messaged Jennifer from Rhinestones and Tutus asking her if she could whip one up for us. I absolutely love how this outfit ended up! PR is wearing the stalactites t-shirt in black. The subtle design on this shirt was so perfect for the big, bold stripes on her skirt.
We finished these outfits off with a black and white striped leather bow to compliment LB’s topknot. Her bow is from another shop we love, Mina Loves Bows! The shop owner, Anna, has such imagination and makes the coolest clips and bows. We have quite a collection of her bows which range from fabric, to leather, to crochet, to yarn. PR is wearing her gold Freshly Picked moccs and LB has on a pair of suede leather booties that I actually got at Target a few years back for PR.
So in case you were wondering what we look like when we make a quick trip out for froyo, here you go. I mean, what else would we wear???
